The Fort Mill chapter is open to adding additional members, we believe the optimum number is between 30 and 35 and we are not currently at that level. Generally we lose members because they have become too busy with their business to attend our weekly meeting. We wish them well, and are glad that we, as their Friends In Business, helped them. Through the experience of our chapter and affiliated chapters, we know of several categories of businesses that contribute and are "a good fit" for our organization. We welcome visitors and applications for membership from interested individuals. INTERESTED IN MEMBERSHIP?After you have attended two meetings you may apply for membership. Dues are $120.00 per year paid in advance. There is monthly fee of $25.00 that pays for breakfast and donations to St. Phillips Neri Catholic Church Ministry Center, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill for the use of their facility.
APPLICATION PROCESS
A prospective member may attend two meetings as a visitor. Prospective Members must complete the application, and submit it with full payment to the Membership Committee for review. The Membership Committee will complete the screening process and notify the prospective member of acceptance. Upon acceptance, the Membership Committee will notify the President who will announce the new member at the next meeting, and forward the payment for annual dues to the Treasurer. Upon joining, new members should bring at least 250 business cards to the initial weekly meeting to distribute to members. The new member will receive referral slips and multiple business cards from all other members to retain and use for passing referrals.
